Happy Lunar New Year
祝全体会员农历新年快乐！

This year promises to be an exciting one for CIOB – I am thrilled to be starting in my new role as Chief Executive and, among other things, we will be getting the process underway to look ahead to our next corporate plan.

对于英国特许建造学会（CIOB）而言，今年注定是振奋人心的一年。我满怀热忱，正式履新首席执行官一职。接下来，我们将推进多项重点工作，其中就包括启动下一份战略规划的编制筹备流程。

We launched our previous plan three years ago, having developed it in collaboration with trustees, members and key external stakeholders. The headline themes we currently focus on – quality and safety, environmental sustainability and the skills gap – remain big issues for our global community of construction professionals. However, we must review how best to address them in the context of an ever-changing environment.

目前的五年战略规划（2023-2028）于三年前正式发布，其编制全程均与学会理事、会员及核心外部利益相关方协同完成。当前，我们聚焦的几大核心议题 —— 质量和安全、环境可持续性以及技能差距，仍是全球建筑行业专业人士所共同面临的重要挑战。但面对不断变化的行业环境，我们必须重新审视应对这些挑战的最优路径。

As we look forward to the Lunar New Year, I feel optimistic about what lies ahead and wish all our members a very happy and prosperous new year.
